Dare to Dream
” A lot of people ask me why we want to send a Singaporean into space.
The better question is why we care to do this.
It is because we want to give back to the nation as I feel that we have been very privileged.
It is always easy to tell others that they must dare to fail or take risks.
Failure gives us another opportunity to get better at what we do.
What I hope to do is show by our own actions, that we’re taking a big risk and champion a change in the mindset of Singaporeans that we as Singaporeans can do it. And the children in River Academy will be a part of this journey.”

Flamenco Teamwork
“Flamenco instills confidence; builds self esteem; builds socio-motor skills as well as bonding and teamwork.”
“The children are encouraged to express themselves freely; embrace their individuality yet work together as a team with others in our dance and music projects.“
Flamenco dance maestros Antonio Vargas and Daphne Huang Vargas.
